iAM SCOPE | Creative Space Activation | Exhibition and Events
Fish Lane Studios was an arts/business partnership driven by The Fox Hotel’s vision to engage with the local arts community. The pilot project helped re-shape the hotel’s position in South Bank. Fish Lane Studios activated a unique, disused space within the Fox Hotel through a program of residencies, exhibitions and events that incorporated fashion, art, design and music.
The Fish Lane Studios project managed by iAM, aimed to nurture and cultivate emerging creative talent through a dynamic program from August 2013 to December 2013. Creatives in studio included Michelle Xen, The Wandering Room and Chris Bennie. The Fashion Archives, Nadia Buick and Madeline King. The program encouraged dialogue and collaboration between local and national artists, curators including Matt Rabbidge (Mild Manners) and Brisbane Semi-Permanent conference. The project provided artists with spaces to make and show new work to new audiences.

In addition to artist spaces, Fish Lane Studios provide unique venues for creative events, exhibitions, screenings and functions for the creative industries.
